Dutrow bros. (entry) – prefer Yelt after even 2nd at this level last time out, All Expenses Paid steps back up in class after rough trip in short field last start.
Loaves and Dishes – drops first into claimer after dull effort at Philly Park in last, been facing better.
Smirk – seeks third in a row off of claim.
Superfecta include: Ready in the Morn

Race #2

Cribnote – rough trip in debut and eligible to improve.
Footnote This – a firster for Pletcher whose owners usually have their runners with top pick trainer, both out of young sire; Read the Footnotes.
Natty Meboy – statebred claimed out of Churchill race in debut, blinkers on today versus own kind.
Superfecta include: Tall Poppi

Race #3

City Roar – just missed in this condition last time out in game effort.
Critical Cathy – out finished as odds-on favorite last start, tough to separate top two.
Kevazinga – comes off six month layoff, may need a race.
Superfecta include: Quixotic Lassie

Race #4

Last Train Babe – drops to bottom claimer here after dull effort at Philly, all or nothing “fire” sale??? your call.
R Fast Favorite – won for fun downstate versus cheaper, claimed & steps up slightly today.
Acclimate – drops back into claimer after no factor in overnight handicap, figures with this bunch.
Superfecta include: Democrat

Race #5

Survived (Best Bet) – bad break at the start versus slightly tougher at Monmouth as favorite in last, fits good here.
Classic Marilyn – an old favorite of mine, got nailed at the wire last time out at 39-1, should lead the way again.
Keltish Lass – interesting shipper goes dirt to turf & drops in class, bullet work at the training track for this.
Superfecta include: Anxiety

Race #6

Pearl of Valor – finished right behind Jardin winner of the Schuylerville on opening day, will see action at the windows because of that.
Ride with the Herd – rallied sharply in debut at 11-1, won’t be that today.
War Echo – a firster from sharp connections, watch the board.
Superfecta include: Persistently

Race #7

Dose of Reality – tired turf sprinting downstate, broke maiden at this distance.
Hangingonaprayer – wide trip in Belmont Stakes day finale, gets tough post again.
Bella Attrice – always figures…but rarely wins, exotic factor.
Superfecta include: Crafty NP

Race #8

Sahara Wind – regally bred firster makes belated debut, gets lasix for career run.
Nurture – comes off Fall layoff for new connections, another well bred runner.
Disperse – clear 2nd in debut, the best of those who ran.
Superfecta include: Pretty Carina

Race #9

Mambo in Seattle – seeks third in a row versus evenly matched group, connections had Grasshopper in similar spot last year.
Cosmic (Longshot) – turf to dirt for McGaughey, won two turns down at Aqueduct going this distance.
You and I Forever – also seeks third in a row, got the breeding to be a good one.
Superfecta include: Chris Got Even

Race #10

Pyro – after disappointing in the Kentucky Derby … returned a winner in next start, race may set up for his close.
Mint Lane – really has come into his own this summer, may lead the way.
Da’Tara – Belmont Stakes upset winner tries today to prove that was no fluke, gets company on the front end today though.
Superfecta include: Macho Again

Race #11

Giveityourbestshot – drops from allowance company to this good spot, his best game at this distance & surface.
Unbridled Refrain – drops back in distance and level to be competitive.
Chief Operator – switches back to turf after two dull dirt tries, may get wake up call today.
The Zipster – first time Linda Rice, first time turf….who knows?
