Brother Bird - finally breaks maiden very impressively on fifth try, chooses wise spot for next logical step.

Pistols At Dawn - impressive maiden win first time out at Churchill Downs, bullet works today for second career start.

High Prize - just missed at this same level, distance & surface last time out, gets the call here.

Military Star - got caught at the wire turf sprinting at this level, hopefully shows speed again today.

Dougie - narrowly missed second start off long layoff last time as the favorite, third time a charm today?

Dirt Track Demon - the one to catch off turf debut in last start, speed demon from the far outside post.

Race #4

Jaguar Paw - even effort in debut at Churchill Downs , goes for Hall of Fame trainer today in second career start.

Enclosure - failed as odds-on favorite last time out going a mile, gets blinkers on today and one more chance.

Macho Joe - wire to wire in maiden breaker first time turf last start, takes logical next step.

Counterspy - last seen nearly a year ago winning here at this distance & surface, may need a race.

WinStar (entry) - one ( Gospel Lesson) is a firster trained by Bill Mott & the other ( Thatcatismine ) trained by Todd Pletcher, farm had young winner on Thursday first time out.

Justin Phillip - another debut runner from Zayat Stables, very tough wide open baby race.

Yankee Empire - rallied at this level last time out downstate, adds a little more distance today.

Mystic - rough trip first time out versus winners in last start as favorite, Kent D. better not find trouble today!

Snow Top Mountain - second best last two starts in grade III company both on polytrack & turf, never worst than 2nd in five lifetime starts.

Protesting - big effort coming from the clouds first time turf last start, looking for a square price here.

Christine Daae - ran against the boys last time out in Monmouth Stake, a lot was hoped for this gal earlier in the year at Gulfstream Park, gets blinkers on today & may be a price!

Pica Slew - lightly raced impressive 3yr.old filly ships up from Calder where she was undefeated, class test today & may come out running from inside post.

Blame - returns to Saratoga off impressive victory in the grade I - Stephen Foster Handicap at Churchill Downs, won the Curlin Stakes here last summer as a 3yr.old and has just gotten better, taken to upset here today.

Quality Road - what more can be said about the BEST thoroughbred horse in training, carefully planned schedule has him penciled in this spot, definitely the "horse to beat" here!

Talk Therapy - drifted late causing himself to be disqualified in off-the-turf event last time out, makes amends today.

Syzygy - first time starter on the weeds from Graham Motion, always dangerous.
