Race #1

Looks Like Junic (Longshot) – prepped on the flats grass here for this jump event, one of three separate runners for Jonathon Sheppard.
Swagger Stick – runner-up last time out, getting closer.
Prep School – disappointed off of layoff in last, may have needed that start.

Race #2

That’s a Good Thing (Best Bet) – got caught late at the level last time out, blinkers on today.
Solutionist – Dutrow runner drops for the very high priced tag, bullet work for this.
Cherokee Bull – grey runner debuts for “bombs away” connections from last Saturday (Slambino).

Race #3

Majestic Moon – debuts for trainer this has 43% winning clip with horses debuting in maiden claiming ranks ($8.59 ROI), stats excellent with this one.
Calling My Colors – showed speed in all of his five lifetime starts, figures in the mix.
Cinfully Hooked – trainer doesn’t start many, worth a look.
Superfecta include: Daybeforeyou

Race #4

Golden Man – gets the slight edge here in evenly match bottom level claimer, connections point this one out.
Auto City – “huge” connections put this runner where he can win, one of this owner’s employees had a very good day at the track last Thursday.
Zip to the City – won at this level three starts back, price here.
Superfecta include: Sonny Pajamas

Race #5

Mayor Marv – the familiar Mike Pegram colors of red & yellow send out this first time starter, Baffert 43% this meet with limited runners.
Majestic Blue – Darley Stable debuts another that is well bred and could be anything, watch the board.
Charlott Humor – Hough / Robsham firster, always dangerous.

Race #6

Stream of Gold – drops from grade I competition (Manhattan Stakes) to this mid-level claimer….”fire” sale?
Moonshine Hall – Canadian invader finds good spot, competitive at this level.
Bullara – Pletcher runner faced better last year as a 3yr.old, factor here.

Race #7

Zipolina – Linda Rice firster on the grass, who could ask for anything more.
Freedom Rings / Dancing Daisy (entry) – very dangerous if either draw into the body of the race, 2nd & 3rd last time out just missing in same race.
Grace’s Valentine – bred both sides excellently for grass, trainers one win this meet was on that surface.
Superfecta include: Our Golden Dream

Race #8

You Go West Girl – chased with rail trip last time out on yielding turf first time versus statebreds, gets slight nod.
Rewrite – always consistent runner goes a better distance to her liking today, will be coming late.
Latitude Forty – won the Yadoo last time out over yielding turf chasing the speed, loves the Spa turf course.
Superfecta include: Nehantic Cat

Race #9

He Struck It Rich – solid in all four turf starts this year, hangs on against these day?
Distortedamusement – a first time starter on the grass for George Weaver who won with Unflagging at 30-1 who is entered in next race.
Formidable – first time starter from the “Chief”, bullet dirt works for this.
Superfecta include: Excess Capital

Race #10

Unflagging – won right out of the box at 30-1 for crafty connections, doesn’t meet much here.
Howdyamissthisone – finally broke maiden versus open company claimers at Monmouth, exotic factor at a price here.
Piazza Di Spagna – rallied versus tougher statebred in last, gets a piece of the “pie” here.
Criminal Power – throw out last on main track, start before that ran a decent 3rd, longshot superfecta filler.
