Saratoga - day#33 (8/29) selections

(81-311) $561.00

Race #1

Titan of Industry – claimed for 35k in N2L last time out just missing,
0 for 7 this year but hold big class edge over these.
Formal King – steps up slightly in class after wire to wire win last time out, dangerous from the rail.
Exchanging Kisses – broke maiden for a tag over the course, may keep 2nd choice busy near the front.
Superfecta include: Deputyville & Galaxy Tax

Race #2

Forest Tango / Vsop (entry) – first Pletcher runner is a half to grade III winner; Startac & entrymate is a half to grade III winner; Three Wonders…both well bred turf runners.
Mesa Sunrise – tries the weeds for Bill Mott & Kent D, even debut on the dirt behind a “good one”.
Jess Not Jessie – a firster from Linda Rice
Saver: Summit Creek

Race #3

Coca Beach (Best Bet) – this Chilean bred last time out ran 3rd against the boys in the UAE Derby & won the UAE Oaks versus her own sex in Dubai, gets lasix for U.S. debut.
Over Under – over matched in the Go For Wand last time out, fits better here.
Highest Class – winless for the year so far from sharp connections, can get a piece.
Saver: Runway Rosie

Race #4

Just Livin a Dream – no factor in debut on a sloppy off-the-turf race, half sister to graded stakes winner; Precious Passion.
Kays and Jays – even 2nd on the dirt in debut, tries the weeds for top connections.
Trix in the City – Linda Rice first time starter, sire won the Florida Derby a few years back.

Race #5

Early Response – lost the bob at the wire on the inside in slop debut, may get a wide trip today from far outside post.
Paramedic / Doughdaddy (entry) – first horse listed; drops to 50k after showing speed in the slop & entrymate debuts for a tag with different trainer.
Purple Eagle (Longshot) – rallied in same race as top pick, gets key jockey switch today.

Race #6

Close Encounter – Kimmel firster that looks like he’s bred to go long, gets tough outside post for debut.
Smokin Hero – three straight 2nd place finishes….there again?
Haynesfield – firster has sharp freshman sire; Speightstown, watch the board.
Superfecta include: Freudian Storm

Race #7

Bittel Road – wired the field turf sprinting downstate, “not fully extended” was the comment line from that race in DRF.
Skipadate – just got up with very wide trip in debut, Bridgemon needs to be closer this time.
Double Domino – another of three Pletcher runners here, sharp turf sprint win.
Superfecta include: High Cry

Race #8

Timber Reserve – way over his head in the Whitney Stakes last time out, this is much easier.
Extreme Supreme – even effort coming off spring layoff, should improve off that effort.
Sam P. – gets blinkers on after non-effort in overnight stake in last race, got one win in two years…

Race #9

Into the Wind – sharp victory over the course, steps up in class today.
Stormy Mirage – has been looking for a spot to run since opening day, fits well in here.
Hint – scored at 54-1 in debut, may be just that good
Senor Enrico – trainer battling 33% first off claim with $9.13 ROI.

The “WmH Double Feature” 2-3 double play
